Grip levels in the dry at -10 deg C are on par with a high performance summer tyre at 20 deg C. Great in cold wet weather and can handle compacted snow/ice on a large RWD estate on steep and winding mountains roads. In icy conditions these tyres are very predictable. Although I have found the Alpin 4 tyres are better in the snow these tyres are better in all other conditions. Grip levels drop off significantly above 15 deg C but this is a winter tyre. In terms of how long they last, well I got about 10k miles on my rear tyres and they were well below the 4mm wear marks so not great while the ones on the front seem like new and have covered the same distance. Must be something to do with my heavy right foot...

Tyres are usually taken for granted, until the road puts them to the test.
