DESCENT TECHNOLOGY 		MICHELIN DESCENT TECHNOLOGY, as its name implies, is the Michelin technology specifically designed for Downhill. It covers three component elements of the tyre: tread, architecture and compound.
To make a tyre sufficiently robust to withstand the highest levels of stress, Michelin has reworked the casing using innovation from the field of motorbike tyres as its inspiration. A type of rubber has been specially developed for the sidewalls to protect them from aggression. Finally, the Super Soft Compound rubber of the tread, initially used in trial motorbike racing, gives maximum grip.
