I bought these tires for winter allroad riding in and around Berlin (32mm, with tubes). I can highly recommend them. So far, these tires have seen some (very) wet asphalt roads as well as wet and dry gravel. They are superb. Wet grip and protection strength are very confidence-inducing, especially on asphalt, both smooth and broken. Will these tires enable you to barrel down muddy forest paths at full tilt? No. Will they keep you safe and stable on forest paths, hardpack and some loose/rocky/sandy terrain, even in terrible weather, if you ride sensibly? Yes. Overall - a great purchase.

Suite à une mésaventure avec des Continental contact Speed qui étaient des savonnettes sur sol humide, j'ai recherché sur le site Michelin leur référence la plus performante dans ces conditions. J'en ai profité pour découvrir le montage tubeless : au premier montage ils sont très difficiles à installer. Mais après, ils tiennent bien la pression et permettre un bon roulage. Idéal pour moi pour un usage à l'année. Reste à découvrir leur durée de vie ; ils ont déjà 2500 km sans marque d'usure.

J’ai eu la grande chance de recevoir une paire de Michelin Power Protection en 32mm pour équiper mon vélo de route haut de gamme. Le but était de trouver une gomme rassurante pour l’hiver, offrant plus de confort que mes GP5000 en 28mm. Rien ne me poussait vers Michelin, ayant un groupe plutôt braché Continental… Et bien j’avais tort ! Quelle surprise ! Ce Power Protection est hyper rassurant sur route dégradée, mouillée et/ou parsemée de feuilles mortes en automne. Le roulement est super correct pour un pneu entrainement/endurance et il a une excellente rigidité latérale, même en 32mm. Pas de flottement. A condition évidemment de trouver la bonne pression. En ce qui me concerne 3,7 bar (monte tubeless) pour mes 78kg étaient parfait. Le confort est juste royal. En ce qui concerne le tubeless, pas de problème particulier au montage, avec un compresseur cela claque facilement. L’étanchéité est bluffante, quasi aucune perte, même après deux semaines sans utilisation. Dernier point concernant la solidité : j’ai dû parcourir -600km avec ces pneus cet hiver sans aucune crevaison, ni voir du liquide préventif intervenir. Il y a bien quelques petites marques d’entailles sur la bande roulement mais la gomme est assez épaisse et travaillée pour résister. Aucun signe d’usure, ils vont durer dans les temps. Bref, je recommande ce pneu les yeux fermés ! Super découverte. Je vais tester le nouveau Michelin Pro 5 pour la belle saison qui arrive, suite au prochain épisode.

2500km déjà avec une paire de 30mm, montage en TLR avec sealant Stans. Je roule à 4b, sur toutes routes (ultra et mauvaises routes de montagne). Le pneu est juste indestructible, et vraiment rassurant sur le mouillé. Pas de signe d'usure, je pense pouvoir faire le double de km sans souci...

Utilisé en 700x28mm tubeless pendant plus de 3000km en route et gravel light, aucune crevaison à déplorer. Un pneu idéal pour les conditions humides ou les routes rugueuses ou la sécurité et le confort sont une priorité
