(1) Michelin tests conducted in 2017 on the MICHELIN PRIMACY 4 tyre size 205/55 R16 91. In both a new and worn condition the MICHELIN PRIMACY 4 wet grip performance results meet the level required to approve tyres for motor vehicles under UNECE Regulation 117. For these purposes, “worn” means a MICHELIN PRIMACY 4 tyre, machine buffed to 2mm which is just above the UK legal tread depth of 1.6mm.

MICHELIN CrossClimate + *Michelin tests conducted in 2017 on the MICHELIN CROSSCLIMATE+ tyre size 205/55 R16 91. In both a new and worn condition the MICHELIN CROSSCLIMATE+ wet grip performance results meet the level required to approve tyres for motor vehicles under UNECE Regulation 117 under ‘Normal’ and ‘Snow’ tyre categories. For these purposes, “worn” means a MICHELIN CROSSCLIMATE+ tyre, machine buffed to 2mm which is just above the UK legal tread depth of 1.6mm. (1) MICHELIN CrossClimate+ has the same level in dry braking than MICHELIN CrossClimate (Test conducted by TÜV SÜD Product Service, at Michelin’s request, in September 2016, on dimension 205/55 R16 on VW Golf 7). MICHELIN CrossClimate has a similar level in dry braking than the Summer reference tyre (Comparative test done by AutoBild on dimension 205/55 R16, published the 30th of September 2016).

MICHELIN Pilot Sport 4
(1) Tests carried out by TÜV SÜD, at Michelin’s request, in April 2015 with225/45-17 94Y/W XL tyres and in July 2015 with 225/40-18 92Y XL tyres with vehicle Golf 7. Tested tyres: BRIDGESTONE Potenza S001, CONTINENTAL ContiSportContact5, DUNLOP Sport Maxx RT, GOODYEAR Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2, PIRELLI PZERO, HANKOOK V12 EVO2 K120.The distance is measured when braking at 100 km/h for dry braking and at 80 km/h for wet braking until the vehicle comes to a complete stop.
(2) Calculation based on the consumption of a BMW 3 Series (5,5l/100 km with a fuel price at 1.36 euros/liter over a distance of 50,000 km, with a difference of 3% of fuel consumption from a vehicle equipped with C-rated tyres in rolling resistance and tyre rated E, meaning an economy equivalent to the price of a tyre.
