The grip from cross climate tryes is excellent and and the handling gets sharp

Brilliant handling in all weather - excellent in the recent freezing conditions around the village back roads where I mostly have to travel during the week .Long motorway runs so comfortable too

No issues in wet or dry conditions although I’m never revving the backside out the diesel BMW X1 The difference in snow is night and day compared to summer tyres - as you’d expect.

Having bought all season tyres I’ve waited 11 months for snow and ice: and we’ve got it with a vengeance! The tyres seem to cope well with the winter conditions and I feel safer as a consequence.

As expected very good

It’s not snowed since I got the tyres! Otherwise they’re fairly quiet with a good ride. I didn’t buy them as performance tyres. I bought high performance tyres for my sports car from you and am very happy with them.

They perform well when it is cold, but the wet… not so sure, jittery at speed as well (60mph+). They are wearing faster than the Primacy 4's too, and causing those to wear more quickly to compensate for them. First pair of Michelin tyres I have not been able to trust fully, unfortunately. Being able to trust your tyres is vital. With a full set of Primacy 4's you can throw the car around and it holds. With the Cross on the driving wheels at the back it holds the same ONLY in the cold (i.e. that is when you can trust them). This is not to say that they are rubbish, they still grip better and wear down more slowly than other brands I have used. Perhaps comparing them to Primacy tyres is the issue, although it must be said the 4's hold in the wet absolutely fine and cope reasonably well in the cold. The Cross would really only be worth it if it snowed. Fundamentally, use these tyres if you live in the Highlands of Scotland, otherwise no.

Grip and performance are OK but the road noise is much higher than ideal. I’ve had crossclimate tyres in other sizes on other cars and never had this problem before.

Excellent in all weather conditions. Our weather can be wintery into May. Winter weather starts in October. The tyres are suitable for all year in North Scotland
