CrossClimate 2 TYRE REVIEW

Excellent. Sailed past several ‘stuck’ vehicles on a hill in snow storm. Good handling generally.

Very well. Braking appears to be good and safe with the new tyres and the vehicle drives well with them on. Can't remember any screaching tyre moments when setting off / accelerating or anything else that you wouldn't expect from a quality tyre.

Did not have a chance to test them in snow last winter.

Seem grippier, but haven't tried them in ice and snow yet.

They're great. Good grip in all conditions, and reasonably quiet too. Tyre rolling resistance makes much more difference to an EV, but we have had no reduction in mileage compared to the Efficient Grips. I have no complaints at all

Much better than the stock Dunlop Eco tyres that came with the car. Did lose 5-8 miles of range but that's almost made up by not having to slow down as much in corners, especially in the wet. More grip in wet, dry and cornering. Much less wheelspin when you put the power down, especially in corners and generally have more confidence in the car now. Got the car up several steep hills in the snow, as you would expect from Cross Climates. Would buy these again for the Leaf.

The tyre are superb in tricky conditions.

Car is now much more predictable in handling. Much better grip in the wet. Range has only reduced by an insignificant amount. If rather arrive at my destination safely than pay a premium for less tread on an EV tyre that will need replaced sooner!

Excellent wet and icy weather grip.
