Dropped my vehicle off at Renault Charles Hurst for control unit coding. After two days with no update, I called to confirm they’d received it—turns out it hadn’t even been looked at yet. That was fine, but after a week of silence, I rang again and was told the car was ready.
When I arrived to collect it, I was informed they’d spent 1.5 hours on the job, despite originally quoting one hour. I was charged an extra £89.40 without any prior authorisation or communication.
The lack of updates and failure to confirm additional labour costs left a sour taste. The work may have been done, but the customer service and transparency were disappointing.

Absolutely disgusting service I bought a Bentley Demo from here and it has had various problems from the day it was delivered it has now been in Bentley workshops for over 30 weeks of my 14 months ownership and charles hurst ignoring me now so having to go to court to claim back loss of use as not been given a courtesy car . They just ignoring me now . Car still has a knock from front suspension and been told they all do that !!
It’s a Bentley , they should not all do that .

1. Follow up care was non-existent. Promised items were not provided, and getting an issue addressed was like pulling teeth.
2. Hard sell on add-ons was very annoying. Keep them separate and transparent, there will probably be some comeback on this in the future.
