Myself and husband had been happy customers at protyre until my car recently went for an MOT. My key fob battery failed and instead of calling me to bring the spare or replacing the battery and billing me, the MOT tester manually unlocked my car and opened the door. I have a mini. The alarm has to be disabled for the window to register its being opened and drop down. The door was yanked open with the window still up in the frame. When I returned to the garage my car was left unlocked and the window down therefore voiding my insurance and risking theft. I drove away and within 30 mins had to return the car as couldn’t shut the window and door properly. The window wouldn’t drop and kept staying on the outside of the frame and the lock wasn’t responding. My husband took it back and the store manager apologised and reset the car. The next day the window was playing up again and I was unable to operate it for around 20 mins. It then happened again 10 days later and I called Protyre to tell them my window was stuck open. I told them I would be taking it to mini to get fixed as I was unable to leave my car unlocked and open due to bad weather incoming, insurance and my work schedule. The area manager deemed it unimportant to speak to me and I was left dealing with the store. I was then told without proof they weren’t prepared to do anything after originally apologising. £600 later to fix the damaged sensor and when mini checked, all the data from of the window/key/lock fault is wiped from my car computer! My car was in full working order when I took it there. I implore you to video your car on pick up and keep written proof of conversations if you’re visiting protyre. I feel scammed to be honest and disappointed as genuine good customer. Be warned. We won’t be returning

I've used a few places for tyres as I always do the repairs myself
By far these gents are the best , turned up, car was straight on the lift no mucking about, no trying to sell me extras, squeezed me in at late notice .. thanks to Ben & the team + see you soon 👍🏻

I had a couple of new tyres and a puncture repair at the weekend. Great service. I have been using Victoria Road Protyre for some years now and have always been pleased with the service. Always recommend.

I went to take my car there to check what was wrong with it and they didn’t even check properly. Then I took to a different garage and it was somethi f completely different wrong with it. If I could it woulf be 0 starts as this was the worst garage that I went to.
