A good sized pub with pool tables and big screens and a good atmosphere
I popped in for one pint but stayed for three,mainly as I was trying to work out if the two good looking barmaids simply had nothing to say to each other or didn’t get on.One was quiet and the other chatty to the customers.Each time the other served a customer the other gave a sideward glance and didn’t utter a word to each other during the hour I was in there.
All in all the best pub I went in during my two day stay and recommend the pub to you.

Always a lively atmosphere in The Bell and is the place to be when the sports are on. Reasonably priced drinks and great food. Pool tables, darts, more TVs than I can count. Staff couldn't be friendlier, always putting on events. Get down to The Bell. 🍻

This is a sports bar that happens to do great food. Burgers hotdogs cooked well and make it your own way. Want a triple stack no problem. Pulled pork on your chips sorted.
Also great ales and normal lagers at a good price.
We go as a group of 8-10 older men and always the service is brilliant food hot beer perfect.

My partner and I came on a Sunday afternoon to watch the football and read. We had 2 teas, a lime and soda, a portion of fries, and the chicken fillets. The drinks were great, the food was excellent, the bathrooms really clean and pretty, the seating was comfortable with lots of TVs, and the service was excellent! The owner and bartender/waitress were very friendly and accommodating. A really wonderful experience. We will definitely be coming back more.
Country Club - a year ago
People don't go anywhere near this pub. Family run and they don't care about their customers. Extremely gobby daughter who serves short measures and tells you straight to your face she doesn't care. Unbelievable. The only customers they get are football fans who come in to watch a match at volume 100. Otherwise the place is empty and subject to their dreadful attitude and behaviour towards their customers. I have reported them to the brewery and to weights and measures, but as the daughter says, she doesn't care.
