Once again I set the shoplifter alarm off as I walked past the cafe and again leaving the store,last week it was a couple of pairs of socks,today was pyjamas. The bar code seems to be the cause. I had my till receipt checked and the items of clothing. It is so embarrassing.If you are at the self service checkout you can’t remove the label.Its not the black plastic thing like you have on wine.How can I avoid this,it’s putting me off coming in.I emailed about the socks fiasco and recieved an apology email.I not doing so again,I just thought I would let you all know. The carrier bags are good value at 69p for the long lasting one though.

I would like to thank the 2 ladies who were working at the petrol station on Sunday 3 August between 1.30 and 2 pm and nominate them for employee of the month if you have one.
I use your automated service for disabled drivers, but on this occasion before I could complete the process one of the ladies had come out to help me, both having recognised my car. Excellent customer service and made me feel very valued.

I visited Alton Sainsbury’s this morning. I was packing my shopping as the cashier put it through the till when I heard her speaking quietly into her microphone expressing concern about the elderly lady who was behind me. She asked for assistance. She quietly explained to me that she thought the elderly lady may have been scammed. I realised that the elderly lady was only buying an Amazon voucher for £250 and was paying in cash. This had raised red flags for the cashier. I don’t know the outcome as I left. I just wanted to say how impressed I was that the cashier could be so concerned and caring. I really hope if the lady was being scammed this assistant prevented the loss of her money. Well done!

Drinks and toasties very nice ,service good. Tables needed to be wiped and cleared and floor needed a good sweep.
