These tyres are excellent. Grip and road holding is superb in all condistions encountered to date over 18 months. In that time they have travelled 11000 miles on a heavy front wheel drive vehicle, the rear still have 6mm tread left and the front 5.5 mm, so ovr that distance, with normal careful driving, the wear has been less than 2mm, which is much improved upon any tyres previously on the vehicle. They weren't cheap but they do provide excellent performance and value for money.

MICHELIN CrossClimate 2 tyre has been developed to improve several properties and offers a better overall performance (safety new and worn, rolling resistance) compared to its predecessor MICHELIN CrossClimate+; as a MICHELIN tyre it also offers an excellent longevity.
Mixed mounting is not possible on the same axle, but rear/front mix is possible. When replacing just two tyres, Michelin recommends that the new or least worn tyres are fitted to the rear axle to improve vehicle control and safety. This advice applies to front and rear wheel drive vehicles fitted with the same tyre size front and rear. Tyre-inflation pressures must be readjusted according to the vehicle manufacturer’s or tyre manufacturer’s recommendations.
