Last for 20% longer*

Thanks to 2CT technology with brand new tread compounds and a redesigned tread pattern, MICHELIN Pilot Road 4 tyres last on average 20% longer than MICHELIN Pilot Road 3 tyres. These tyres feature chamfered sipe edges that help prevent abnormal wear in extreme conditions and under heavy braking.

Shorter braking distances on wet surfaces

Thanks to their new XST+ sipe technology, MICHELIN Pilot Road 4 tyres reduce braking distances on wet roads and very slippery surfaces like white lines and pedestrian crossings.  The result is a safer, more reassuring ride.

Excellent grip

MICHELIN Pilot Road 4 tyres provide optimal grip when cornering because of their patented tread pattern and specific tread compounds.
Tread grooving and siping also increase their ability to clear water.

Michelin top class company

Marius - October 14, 2020

Bought this tyre for bmw k1600 gtl after few days I can say amazing tyre much better performance than older model pilot 4 GT. Do to the clearance issue on my bike between true and swing arm I have asked Michelin where the problem is and swiftly was send to my dealer where Michelin kindly swap it for new pilot 4 GT with no charge attached. Unfortunately do to issue with clearance between tyre and swing arm this tyre is not any more recommended for bmw k1600 GTL. I have use previously lots of other brands as tyre for my bikes but in last 7 years Michelin is the only choice as I don’t care about silly comments in forums that some one drove k1600 20000miles on one set of tyres. That is rubbish so don’t listening that person as he maybe done it by drive each Sunday to church mile away from home. I need from motorbike tyre grip and decend has sling on wet and Michelin kill competition on it. Another plus is that this company proven to me to stay behind customer. Thank You Michelin.

Slippery tires

PEOSL - April 11, 2020

Unsatisfied customer. Slippery in the summer (hot road). Don't stand for long (after 2 years and abt 15000 kms). Generally previous brand was more reliable.

Reliable choice

Pancho - February 11, 2020

I ve been riding the P4 as a factory mount on my BMW R1200R LC. I usually do 60% riding in mountain roads (lucky to live in the Canary Islands) very often in wet roads (yes the centre of thew island can be very humid for winter months) and the rest on highway/ urban traffic. It took me some time to get used to the feeling specially in wet conditions but with the time I won confidence and now I got used in the way the tyres convey the way the tyres convey the not always regular condition of local roads. When pushing the bike in road mountains the tyres will usually let you know in a very progressive way you are reaching its limit, almost in a pleasant way where you can start feeling the back drifting away and as you pull the throttle. As a next mount I am wondering whether to sacrifice some durability to win quicker response?
