I booked in for MOT and in the lead up to it my battery warned saying "very low battery", so I added the test to the MOT.
Upon arrival, they took 3 hours and only to tell me the battery is completely fine and no replacement done. I reiterated that dashboard has been warning, and the receptionist was adamant there was nothing wrong with the battery.
I was paranoid and called up BMW specialist right after. It was definitely the battery and turns out Kwik Fit is normally too basic to test for BMW battery (which is completely fine if they just tell me that I came to the wrong place for it)
Instead receptionist tells me the battery is definitely fine and was not nice about the whole thing, I think she needs to know better the Kwik Fit's limitations and advice customers better.
If I had not called specialist after, I would surely end up stuck the road a few months later, with an engine unable to start! Anyway I rebooked myself with BMW specialist, wasted my time and received bad customer experience.
Would appreciate better staff training on their knowledge and listening capacity.

Massive thanks to the team who offered me an amazing experience this morning. I had booked an appointment with Donel, and on my arrival I felt like a valued customer. The receptionist made me feel welcome, and the team were polite and positive. Additionally, the female mechanic seemed young but extremely professional while investigating the ongoing TPMS issue with my vehicle.

I’ve taken my car to Kwik Fit in Charlton twice now, and both times they’ve been excellent. The first visit was quick and straightforward, and I was really happy with the service. The second time, I went in for a wheel-sensor issue, and I have to mention Suzi at the front desk. She was absolutely brilliant. Very polite, helpful, and genuinely kind.
What stood out to me was how they treat people like you’re one of their own. Nothing felt rushed, but the service was still quick, and the prices were very reasonable. While I was waiting, I even saw a little girl go up and hug Suzi because she was so warm and friendly with the customers. That really says a lot.
I also asked if I could pray, and Suzi immediately found me a quiet space and made sure everything stayed peaceful while I prayed. That meant a lot to me.
Overall, I’m really impressed. Excellent service, great staff, fair prices, and especially Suzi—outstanding. Highly recommend Kwik Fit Charlton.

Staff were friendly helpful to everyone coming in and realistic - saying there would be a 90 minute wait. Left front tyre losing pressure quickly - either valve or puncture. Rang me to say it was just the valve & within the 90 mins they'd taken the wheel off changed it & returned the car to me. Total bill ÂŁ22 - impressive
